The Medieval city of Mennetou-sur-Cher
At 20min by bike, join the charming medieval city : surrounded by ramparts of the XIIIth century, and located at the edge of the Cher river. It has retained from its defensive past three beautiful archers circular towers and three square doors. Its narrow streets, with picturesque names, are strewn with pretty houses, sometimes twisted, in stone, mud and timbered (XIV-XVIth century). The church presents a beautiful square choir of Gothic Angevin style. In summer, guided day or torchlight tour, by reservation.
